Sharks and an Island hop.
Swimming with the fish was interesting, and rough. The 830 departure was fine but the swells on the ocean were not. I was seconds from puking while we were getting hauled in from the cage, and the debut of Kevin “heave” Zimmel was seen. Hahaha, the old man puking off the side of the boat was priceless. It took the rest of the morning to get our stomachs back into kilter and lunch at Jameisons diner on the north shore was great. All in all the diving with the sharks was pretty incredible and to be honest they don’t want to have anything to do with you. Pretty misunderstood creatures in my opinion. We dropped Steph off at the airport, destination Winnipeg, and continued to the Hawaiian Airlines check in for our 45 minute flight over to Maui. Subtract the major infrastructure and turn down the Japanese tourists of Oahu and you have Maui. Beautiful. Whales breaching right off shore, turtles even closer then the whales, and the surf looks perfect.
