The Escapades of a 13 Year Old Billionaire. Part III
PermaLink - Dec 16, 2006

All houses need furnishing.. time for some fun! (Most pieces from Art Lebedev )

Saturum Armchair

Nice and big, designed to fit lots of people in the seat and on the side. I think I'd have a few in my lounge(s).

$1000 each

Obedius Table

Quite nice, some cool hand prints to give inspiration of what to do while sitting at it.

$Unknown, concept piece

Independus Chair

A cool piece, the legs, seat, backrest etc. are not directly connecting.

$Unknown, concept piece

Herman Miller Aeron

Mesh goodness packed in a top of the line work chair just melting with comfort. Yum.

~$1000

Lira Contemporary Buffet

A pretty cool looking table with some lights. Nice for parties.

$2630

Histoire Corner Bedroom Suite

How cool is a round bed? Plus, it has a stand for a large television. And the motor to make it spin... yay!

$10,750

The Escapades of a 13 Year Old Billionaire. Part IV
PermaLink - Nov 27, 2006

Now it's time for the 13 year old billionaire to show you his rides. Let the madness begin..

Volvo S60 T5

A rather nice car, this is not a box car or grannymobile. This is 257 turbo'd HP. Add all them nice options and make it white and I'm sold.

$62,360 maxed out

Tesla Roadster

This car is insane. It's 100% electric, gets the equivalent of 135 mpg (A good hybrid gets less than 60), and goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds, hardly slower than a $300,000 Lamborghini that gets 8 mpg. What's not to love?

$90,000+

Eurocopter Super Puma AS 332L2

One of the largest helicopters money can buy, it's quite luxurious with a front cabin with 4 seats, a rear VIP cabin, a galley, and toilet.

$ Who knows?

Eurocopter Super Puma EC 225

Even larger than the AS 332L2, this one has much wider seats and holds 8-10 in ultimate luxury. Wonderful.

$ Far too much

Bombardier Global Express XRS

A rather humungous aircraft, it can do all sorts of things because it has a mad range of over 13000km.

$A few million

Boeing Business Jet

Sure, the Global Express is nice, but this is simply insane. It's an actual commercial airliner, but instead of hundreds of seats, it's a flying palace. There's a queen sized bed, full shower, board room, and a completely private office. Excellent.

$Many many millions

Ski-Doo MXZ X

A nice snowmobile. High performance and all.

$13,549

The Escapades of a 13 Year Old Billionaire. Part II
PermaLink - Nov 26, 2006

This time around, I'm focusing on the smaller electronics suchs as iPods, etc.

Cameras

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N2

A nice camera. 10MP, 3" touch screen for instant editing of photos, and quite small for such features. Add on a GPSCS1 GPS Unit so you can see exactly where in the world you took each photo.

$530 + $130

Kodak V610

Sure, it's only 6.1MP, but it has dual lenses and Bluetooth for some real fun.

$450

Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1

Smal, 720p recording to SD card, built in 5.1MP camera, what more could you want?

$750

Sony HDRSR1 AVCHD

Insane camcorder, even though a bit larger than the Xacti, this does 'full' HD at 1080(i or p?), has 5.1 surround sound audio capture, a 3.5" touch screen, can record at 240fps, and has 30GB of hard drive storage recording along with Memory Stick DUO. Add another GPSCS1.

$1800 + $130

Samsung SC-X205L

Very small, less than 10cm tall in fact. This one would be for filming stuff with the included external camera attachment.

$650

Digital Audio Players

Apple iPod

Everyone has one. A 13 year old billionaire should be no excepion. I say white and 80GB.

$400

ARCHOS 504

Sure, I love Apple, but this is way better as far as video playback goes. 160GB of storage, 4.3" screen with over 16 million colours, DVR function, PDF reading, and a host of other features.

$540

ARCHOS 604 Wifi

Kind of the same thing as the 504, but half a centimeter thinner, just 30GB, and has a touch screen. BUT... it has Wifi for browsing the web. Wonderful.

$405

The Escapades of a 13 Year Old Billionaire. Part I
PermaLink - Nov 26, 2006

All 13 year old billionaires need some nice technology. Here's a list of what I'd have.

Cellphones

Vertu Signature- White Gold

Combine white gold, sapphire, and cellphone guts, and what do you get? A Vertu Signature. Notoriously expensive, they are the perfect fit for a 13 year old billionaire.

$23,500

Nokia N95

Mad specifications. Bluetooth, Wireless G, Infrared, GPS, 5MP camera, dual slider design. Who couldn't resist?

Estimated $1200

Laptops

Apple Macbook Pro 17"

Lightweight for it's size and packing quite a punch, it has Wireless internet, Bluetooth, and a video camera and microphone. Perfect.

$3100

OQO

Sure it has Windows, and I revolt it. But the sheer tinyness of it wins over its.. problem. Maybe I'll hack OS X onto it.

$1200

Sony X505

Pretty much the lightest laptop you can buy. It has a carbon fibre case and is so slim it lacks an optical drive, VGA port, and Ethernet port. I'ld hack OS X onto it along with the OQO.

$3500

That's all for this early morning. Expect more objects of desire on The Escapades of a 13 Year Old Billionaire later today.

Blaaaaaaagh
PermaLink - Nov 17, 2006

Whoooo! I'm finally done that damn map. Now for me to sleep... Smile
Why oh why???
PermaLink - Nov 17, 2006

Must I do my CE map at 12:11 in the morning? Stupid Swedish School and stupid mom for not letting me on the computer until 11... Yell
Off to schooool...
PermaLink - Nov 14, 2006

Yay I'm leaving for school in five minutes. And I haven't done my science homework under account of losing my textbook a day after I got it. Oh joy. I'll just do it in math.
I just wasted 3 hours of my life.
PermaLink - Sep 30, 2006

...In a fucking office. Stupid dad decided to drag me to his office on a Saturday and have me 'help' him with some shit involving Word and stuff. All I did was get pissed at him and attempt to sleep in a chair for 3 hours. He even went far enough to say "Sleep on the floor". What an idiot. All I realyl got out of it was a small bag of Jalapeno Jack popcorn from Kernels. That was good but I'm not sure it was worth 3 hours of lifeless shit.
Hehehehe I'm in school.
PermaLink - Sep 27, 2006

Man oh man am I bad... I should be thinking of a storyboard for my crappy animation but instead I'm here. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Heya hey hey!
PermaLink - Sep 21, 2006
