This time around, I'm focusing on the smaller electronics suchs as iPods, etc. Cameras Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N2 A nice camera. 10MP, 3" touch screen for instant editing of photos, and quite small for such features. Add on a GPSCS1 GPS Unit so you can see exactly where in the world you took each photo. $530 + $130 Kodak V610 Sure, it's only 6.1MP, but it has dual lenses and Bluetooth for some real fun. $450 Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1 Smal, 720p recording to SD card, built in 5.1MP camera, what more could you want? $750 Sony HDRSR1 AVCHD Insane camcorder, even though a bit larger than the Xacti, this does 'full' HD at 1080(i or p?), has 5.1 surround sound audio capture, a 3.5" touch screen, can record at 240fps, and has 30GB of hard drive storage recording along with Memory Stick DUO. Add another GPSCS1. $1800 + $130 Samsung SC-X205L Very small, less than 10cm tall in fact. This one would be for filming stuff with the included external camera attachment. $650 Digital Audio Players Apple iPod Everyone has one. A 13 year old billionaire should be no excepion. I say white and 80GB. $400 ARCHOS 504 Sure, I love Apple, but this is way better as far as video playback goes. 160GB of storage, 4.3" screen with over 16 million colours, DVR function, PDF reading, and a host of other features. $540 ARCHOS 604 Wifi Kind of the same thing as the 504, but half a centimeter thinner, just 30GB, and has a touch screen. BUT... it has Wifi for browsing the web. Wonderful. $405 |
