Does he feel more at home in CaNada or in Korea...definatly debatable! The last time he visited his dad he remembers his Dad being quite rude to him for no reason.....attitudes and respect ....is it me with the problem?  I had every intention of trying to keep our small relationship going but it seems your more worried about another relationship at this point in your life.....but I hope you realise the affect this could have on your children.... or already has.. SO calgary was weird...had fun hanging with his dongsang...good to catch up with Ryan...movies, sun, runs, killers here I am!

Anyway being home has been funny....what about Lilly's skinny, long white chicken legs!!!?? is she still a baby? and when did Ryan get a cbr 1000rr 05 and why doesn't Nolan want to ride it? he's over motorbikes...is he?  He's been home for a week and seen his older sister Mel for about 30mins....since when did Mel become so hard to get ahold of? Dave I know you like my sister but please!  and is Nolan back into running?    He did run 6.5 miles Wednesday then this morning 6.5 and then popped in another 4.5miles pm.....doubles he hasn't done this kind of training since NZ 04...whats going on?

japanese men don't always have to fight when their drunk, Japanese look more western, their teeth are.... well ya..lets just say Koreans have better teeth, girls tend to be cuter...do they Bruce? the cars are way more bawling, pegs not work there though...luke's mates have to! I'm not sure Japan lived up to being so much more expensive than anywhere else in asia...sure taxi's and a few other things but in general not sure what the big fuss was about...its not like its europe or anything! I guess we were in Osaka not Tokyo as well!

Once back Home ....sleeping and Badminton games...leave Seoul in Spring and come back to 27'c days...sweating..that sums up walking outside....

Luke it’s been awhile, it will be good to catch up with you this weekend in Japan. I’m a bit surprised you went through with the Japan trip; to be honest I didn’t think you guys would actually go there but I’m happy you did! After being to New Zealand a few times myself you tend to get used to NZ’ers saying they are going to travel and just end up going to OZ for a couple of weeks and then come back home and get right back into their regular lives

So about these April 24, 05 …..What about April 24, 04… Nolan and Brett have just biked to Dunedin the previous day and are chilling out at Hayley’s Flat …what about the nerdz…actually he’s going to finish the Dunedin log right now…will he?  He did! he did a sobe run of his own tonight....(garbage bags, green tea and milk from the local family mart) he spent his night cleaning house, 1.5hrs in the gym (chest, biceps, abs) pretty zoning it yo...he  didn't do any cardio so that means hes heading to the track tomorrow for intervals!!!! he's excited...his knee feels pretty good and legs are fresh..... will it be 400's...why not 10*400m with 400m jog rest ...hes going to do them just on feel...no set time

talk about lax days, waking up at 1:30pm after crazzy dreams that went all over the place then just talking to his (dong sang)..which means younger brother in korean for hrs and thinking he has come up with his plans here...has he? Going home on June 16th for 2 weeks and then staying in korea till November or December and leaving with like 20g's or more...?  If things were going huge with Bruce than who knows right?  Coming out of here next December with a fair base of 30 mile weeks and cross training and then heading home for Christmas for a couple weeks and then heading somewhere for training and then popping up at random meets in the US and Canada and then Commonwealth game trials and racing in Europe...maybe staying in France afterwards and getting married????? who can say? God might have a fair idea....but does he? he does!

so ya he's been thinking abit about running next year this one....My body has finally filled out and he feels like the best part of the worst part (ricies) of injuries is behind him!.....He would like to go to a running specialist and get a proper foot analysis and find out once and for all if he needs orthodics and what kind of shoes he should be running in..he's been told motion control, cushion and he himself thinks he should be in a stabilty...and then running here I am! and in europe we will be found erasing pb's from 02 ....a whole 4 years later, a whole olympic break could have passed in that time or  high school could have been repeated with an extra year for upgrading right Mel or grade 13 if you were in Ontario till 03.. Nils Shauman the german 800m Olympic champion from Sydney is making a comeback after 5 years!

Can you tell me about this Nolan character..I also have a few questions....  sure...so he was feeling abit funny last night...not like joking or from any funny hangovers or anything...actually I'm pretty sure he hasn't drank any poison for a good month here...so what was it he was feeling so funny about? so the words going around that hes not working alot, can you give us some insight on a typical day...

well is there such a thing as a typical day? not in his  life lately... well he's not working alot and still making bawling cash, he tends to be sleeping in quite late in the morning usually turns into the afternoon most days...gets up and then talks to his pastor for a couple of hrs about the journey we are all traveling..some call it life! Then he'll pop into the gym... random runs ranging from 10mins-40mins at a walking pace one day and then the next running until he's sweating heaps and looks pretty stuffed and I know he's hurting...who knows..whats he doing? the people in the gym aren't the only confused people..maybe he's thinking the same thing...is he? He'll run 4 days in a row then dosen't show up for 3 days at a time sometimes a week! Is he fit? He's pretty confident about running sub 2 in a couple of weeks...so ya he's pretty fit I guess! He has a pretty good six pack and arms but could work abit on that chest, you've see his fathers?... I have... He tends to smile alot most days and seems to be enjoying himself...is he?  he is!  Then he'll rush upstairs to his messy apartment and cook up a random feed..veges, noodles, tofu, sauce...(he does like that tofu with soysauce and sugar...infact he told me the other week his mom showed him that when he lived in sherwood park, but I already knew!) inhales his meal..showers and then gets ready for work..usually gets dressed quickly and then he can muck around with his hair for ages ( once you get to know him you'll notice he has a perfectionist side that will come out and his hair is one of them at times...never satisfied and can waste valuable time messying with his hair...) but the clock is ticking so hes out and running for the bus at about 5pm ...jumps on a bus and then the subway...he'll pretend to study his course and teaching books sometimes but is really just buzzing out to Trance on his headphones....so why does he pretend to read his book, just for shits and giggles? well actually if you knew his roommate you would understand that he dosen't like the word shit and anything to do with it..but giggles sure, if laughing is involved must be a good thing according to him! but actually the real reason is people stare at him on the subway because he's a weigoo which means foreigner in Korean..happy? sometimes he'll smile and wave..he likes awkward situations but if he waved and smiled everyday it wouldn't really be that awkward , would it?  Then he'll arrive at school and depending  if Tues or Thurs he'll have a private lesson and then either teach a private lesson or teach his own High school class...sometimes he'll teach with Bruce lee the  grammar and reading ..(what kind of  of things does he teach in his high school  classes?...you have the internet check them out ..here is the link http://www.koreaedu.com/Asp/Instructor/InstructorHomePageMain.asp?ins_mid=D589ACC1-AC53-462B-BE3A-D6A3E6287EA4  could be a bit hard to find..its in Korean but there are some videos of him teaching online...well it is a korean country what did you expect? actually..ya clean it....sorry the milk isn't poured and ya the butter is in the fringe ..save it

So does he have teaching experience? well what did you think he was doing in Taiwan last year? and the last 10 months....his parents are both teachers, does that count? If he wants sure  Didn't he get the boot from Taiwan or something?  he didn't tell me that story...he better not have!  well thats what I've heard...He thinks hes pretty smart sometimes that one...(people will believe anything these days!  some people think I'm a DJ for fathers sake)

On the weekends as of late he likes to go to bed early and wake up on Saturday morning all refreshed and then he'll subway to Olympic stadium with one of his foreigner friends who hs big bushy hair...they must get funny looks ..2 tall white guys in track gears...lol...actually they are a bit over the looks and laughs so really its not that funny, especially if the one brings a korean girl on the subway with them...thats a big no no..why?  just think about it, ok...sure      Then he bang out some intervals at the track with no shirts on...even if its raining?  ya why should he care its fucken warm..pardon my Korean...thats not korean..true it isn't...ricies I guess...good call!

then after he'll eat random dinners.... Partying kind of went down the tube after a trip to Bali...he feels like he's over drinking..is he? he is!  actually he's grinning.... your guess is as good as mine....actually its not...he did go through all of 2003 with no drinking...  what about his b-day at that hall in millwoods? whoops..your right there was that once...even i can make a mistake from time to time....and he has some pretty impressive looking v-card plaques on his wall, 2003 is shining quite bright..he applied for 2004 but got rejected..why?.. ask him..ok.  2005 is looking good almost time to get the application and paper work done for that..will he last the year? should do! Does he like Korean girls?  does he?  well he's a bit picky this one...not sure what it is with him and girls actually, he says girls are hot at times but would he date them and if he did would it be for awhile or what? he wouldn't...he says he wants to travel the world and meet miss perfect...well I guess he has his work cut out for him then.....ya he speaks of love and girls like its a goal of his to meet and marry  the perfect girl, apparently thats one of his goals with all this traveling...I guess he has a bit of traveling to do here...you can say that again! I guess he has abit of traveling to do here  you didn't really have to say it again..but you told me to? its just a saying..I guess they don't teach you that kind of stuff in english class in Korea huh...nope... having a successful and happy marriage is one of the biggest accomplishments anyone can achieve isn't it?.. he seems to think so...  he does
