Cancun - Day 0
Saturday.

Arriving in Cancun and meeting Josh at the airport was up there. Not really so much me being in Mexico, but going to a resort for a week with Josh definitely was. I'm being nice to call Club Carrousel because it was actually terrible. Check in time was 3pm, and we didn't get our room for about 45mins later. I'm not sure if it was because I haggled with the guy about our room, or what, but when we finally got upstairs to it, it was terrible. two off-sized beds, puke color bed spreads, a dungeon bathroom, and a window facing the front road. That was a pretty big kick, knowing that 90% of the rooms are facing the back(the beach/pool), and have balconies.

We had missed the lunch time trying to check-in, so we got something to eat at the snack-bar. If you can picture a bad cafeteria hamburger, and average fries, that is what I ate. Terrible.

I would almost say it was an un-easy feeling being their that first day, because most people had been their already a few, and didn't need a towel behind the ears as we did. Trying to figure out meal times, and who was who, took a couple days.

Everynight, their is a couple entertainers that organize both the daily events, but also the trips into various clubs. It's a pretty dear cover, like $40 usd. They were going to Coco Bongo that night, which I did want to go to, but I was more keen to check out the local town, rather then follow our hotel group around into the heart of tourist city.

Josh, is super easy going, almost more so then Brett. They both eat a small animal for dinner everynight, but one doesn't drink near as much as the other. You figure it out...

After walking around with some locals, Josh and I went to a couple clubs, and then got something to eat. It was all pretty average, and funny at best.

Josh, you will get this: Me haggling on the street
