Scams left behind
Having been gone for a week, I arrived back to my computer with a bit of excitement. a few hundred new emails, which is alot; unless your my dad or something. Emails aside; my leopard skin and I are back from Cancun. Having set a new record of 8 days straight, you might wager I'd have a smile on my face. A smile is the last thing you're going to see though unless my body starts operating normally again. What started out with a foot is now feet, stomach, and ears among others. Nacked and uneasy I went to bed last night at 7:30 pm, and didn't see myself until this morning at 11. That is a stupidly long sleep. I said it. Trying to stomach food, and wake up from my 16 hour sleep, I'm sweating off the richter. It's probably a bit of a fever mixed with 80+ degrees of humid weather in Houston. Today started out with trying to catch up with work, and then some food and the mall. The Puma store was most inviting as always, and with that massive credit on my visa, I'm about ready to go shopping. Actually I best figure out where it came from first. I picked up some ear drops, that are meant to clear out any water caught inside ears, and also aid as a bit of a disinfectant. My hearing has only gotten worse since I started using them, but it's meant to take a day or two to clear up. Might be a scam, but I hope not. My right ear came around on about the 3rd day in Cancun, but my left is probably 90% gone. It's left noises from sources like wind, and bass really distracting, as they create a swirling emotion around me. One thing I did hear: Tonight when eating dinner at a restaurant Al and I were sitting in the middle of two other tables. I could not hear anything from the table to our left, but the one on the right was coming in loud and clear. There was two guys, and a girl. The two guys, were talking really loudly and hard out about renewable fuel sources, gravity fields, and atoms. Here I thought they were inventing a time machine, and was ready to pull out a notepad. What gives? After another couple meals, and tying the rest of my thoughts from Cancun I'm ready for bed. I've got preparation to be done for the 28th, work to be finished, feet to ice, and an ear to clear out. A week of life from the younger one.
