| Today is special because of you |
| Being home today has been great. Antibiotics in my ear, business meetings, and going out on Whyte, would sum it up. Mind you there was a walk in their, before the business meetings, and also some work in the a.m. hours that shouldn't be forgotten about. I'll post about a couple of things, that came as really random. At the gym today I ran into a few guys that I knew in grade 9. That's one thing, but then me going out with them is another. Next minute I know we're at Squire's, and it's a reunion, like the last time I was there. Countless number of people from the park, combined with Scona, Earl's Crossroads, and Ainley Bio 20. My phone book has doubled in size, and I'm trying to settle my tab with Kenna, and then their is Adria and Amy. I was about to pull out my two for one coupons, before I decided it was time to let that joke die. Was it? Adria, you need to be watching out for Amy, and Amy, you need to be watching out for Adria. You two... So about to spin some yawns with Kenna, I squeeze my way in, and Nolan you'll get a kick out of this. Some random start hassling me about taking his spot, and asked if I was going to remain there. I just told him, "yep", and that was that. He then felt like it was necessary to settle the score, so he goes on. "Do you really think that you'll get service before me.". I looked the guy up and down a few times, and then behind the bar, I knew where he was going with this, so I said "yep". He then goes on about how noone in the world makes K.K. feel as good as he does, and I ricied him, and next minute I know he's putting a wager of $400 on this stupid, who can serve who first. "Yep". Next minute I know he says, "Hey Kenna, this guy thinks that you would serve him before me", Kenna looks over at me, and I ask politely "One Stella Please". As fast as he order I have a Stella in hand. Classless this guy, not able to admit defeat says to me: "Kenna knew that's what I was going to order you, I always order Stella, or Gin and 7up." When I should have walked away with the wankers money, I called it even for the drink. I was just their to settle my tab, and robbing the kid in the candy store just wasn't on my agenda. Geez though, I could have been their to learn the alphabet, although I kept getting stuck. A, B, C, D, D, D. Kenna. Nolan called it. Guys that make too much money in Oil and don't know what to do with it. I was even pointing people out to take advantage of it. It's money being spent either way, might as well get in on it. Adria! There was a fair share of ricies, recieving and handing out. What was with that girl trying to tell me that I had never lived in New Zealand. Ok my accent is gone, but ricies. All of a sudden you visit a country for a few weeks, and think that you can just start making calls like that. Wanker. I can only look at it, and... There really is not justification for it. People are just shallow at the best of times, and tonight proved just that. Tomorrow brings new opportunity, and there is never a point to stop trying, before your heart does. You know it, I know it; When I should have been fast asleep, I was running from one stop to the next trying to stay warm, and then dodgying it home. I don't know what I was doing with those mile repeats again, but even before that I should have been on and cyphering up the words for this post. The post for the 17th. I don't even know what today means to you anymore. March 17th, everyone is wearing green, you? It's your 20th, and I'm excited for you. Of course I miss you, and heaps else, but Happy Birthday, and like every other I thought of you this day. Now I'm left with days counting down until the 24th, and then there is 1.5 continually being added to. Phenomenal. I said it. I wish my magical poem would have worked out, but magic and I haven't been the best of mates lately. Today though, is special because of you. |
