| Fyfer y Tomioso in Action |
PermaLink - Nov 15, 2006
Well...one ticket booked. March 28th to April 18th, here we go! The bloods pumping, and some sweet ass camel pics will be taken. Fyfer has bought himself a brand new racing outfit, and has been doing some serious leg stretches to prepare for the big day when he'll become friends with Ahjmed, the champion racer camel. Perhaps some indoor skiing, 7 star hotel ruckus, tallest waterslide in the world riding, desert 4X4ing, beach hutting it, some serious scuba diving, some palace looking, zooking over to Cairo for a few days, then back in time to hit up some of that palm island. I gotta find a blue uniform long enough and skinny enough to pass Fyfer as a full blown private school boy for a day... |

SO, after three days of set up, many trees being moved across the field from the youngsters building, some storage room sessions, a gazeebo being built...twice, and being abandoned by all but the boy, produced an unforgettable night. 50's style has my likings! From the waiters in the diner, to the lovers in lovers lane, a good time was had by all i hope. best time of the night: on that dancefloor, where nothing seemed to surround us except a blurry haze. no one else was on that dancefloor but us, at least no one that mattered. feeling the intensity that i did while being so close, wow, left SO much to the imagination. a good time was certainly had by all... |

| The Meltdown |
PermaLink - Nov 5, 2006
The thought process when reading the title would be that you think I'm speaking metaphorically..in some cases, indeed I am, but right now, I'm setting all those aside and speaking of our winter dance! WOOHOO! Come November 10th, the gym will be rockin around the clock with some good ol' ram jams. The theme you ask (because living with the rich bitches that I do, things are never done simple here, there's always got to be a theme that is totally blown overboard) 50's THEME! And the name..the Meltdown. Some main highlights of the night will be all crowded into one gym, a real diner serving real food where we sit in real booths, a drive in with a black and white movie, a loverslane where them couples can escape and be alone under a gazeebo and get lost in a forest, and of course the racing heart of mine when he pulls me in tighter on the dance floor. Pictures, of course. After the event darlin |

One more day with my brother..oh shit. On the brighter side of things, this means only one more day until I get to go back to Dubai to see that certain little someone that I've been itching to see for 10 days. No study hall..ok then, perhaps a sneak visit before the aftermath of football equalling no hugs for Tomi. Then, SLEEPING OFF JETLAG IN MY BED,be there 1:50 sharp. The time with the big bro has been unreal, and I wont get to see him for a month and a half, oh son of a...ANYWAYS. This trip has been amazing, and I've learned SO much about my background, kinda neat to see what the grandparents grew up with. Certainly want to return here soon. |
| Friday the thirteenth |
PermaLink - Oct 13, 2006
Well, it certainly has been a Friday the 13th indeed, what can be more bad luck than walking through a real haunted hotel in Japan with all them Japanese ghosts, and getting your heart broken by someone you've been in love with for nearly 3 years? |

For the past 5 days, and 5 more to go, I've been chillin in Japan with some pretty rad family members. Last night was an interesting one for sure, had a "cousins and their dads" booz night, twas a gooder indeed. Interesting drinking will all my cousins and uncles..never really been drunk with the papa and bro at the same time, some interesting convo's were had by all. Dont remember most of the stumbling back to the hotel process, or how 20 drunk people who can barely get by on their broken Japanese in the middle of the night managed to get there no harm done. Unfortunately, the day after wasnt as fun. The madre dragged me to this festival when my main objective was to pass out in my room for a few hours. The day ended going a lot like passing out on the public washroom floor for a few hours. Madre was mad. Anyways, I woke up at 8:20 when the alarm rang, and had been looking forward to my nap ever since 8:21. so we get back to the hotel around 7pm, and I hear some startling news about someone important from back home, kinda dont know how to react or think for that matter. Heart, prepare to break... |

PermaLink - Oct 7, 2006
Well, I've been back in Dubai for 46 days, and am already looking forward to my return flight home. Hoping it'll be in Feburary, but we have yet to see how that turns out. However, I've actually been enjoying overseas life, it's only taken me a year to reach this stage. It's all been because of a certain somethin somethin that has brought me to this stage, and I thank him. We kicked off the year with a bunch of going away parties for friends that graduated and are leaving for their new lives in their new countries. Then came the cooler weather (still only 40 degrees celsius..but at least not 50 anymore) which allowed some good boating and tanning sessions. Finally, I got rid of the nice white color I possessed this summer back in Canada. Next came a good birthday shindig held for Lisa the good ol' scottish girl that we all know and love. At the moment, I am packing as I have an hour and 10 minutes until I have to leave for the airport to Japan. One event I've been looking forward to the most...SEEING MY BROTHER! oh how i do miss that boy. It's been 46 days since I've seen him, and some much needed catching up/chilling time will be done. WOOHOO |
