Panama trip 2

oh god.i know i have been promising everyone a blog here.. and i'm sorry that it took so long.... but you guys, there is so much to do!!! the last thing on my mind most days is, "i should journal".

panama is living up to its reputation (well tyler, not THAT much could have changed... you were here 2 weeks ago). the first few days were full of sight seeing with carlos, and taking it easy in the night. panama city is pretty quiet on sun, mon and tues, so we drank the beers and hung out at allison and eddies place. tonight was a different story. buzz was hoping, and i would have been to, had eddie and i not stayed up all night at the casino (dont worry, no gambling... the casinos here are full of beer and girls too :D ) a 1 hour nap at 11:30 to 12:30, and i was woken up in my ginch by allison and addy for a quick trip to the mall and some lunch. back home for another attempted "catch up" on some sleep. i think 3 more hours doesnt cut it!!

after the girls got ready (romy and addy), it was off to my first panamain discotech. they are pretty cool, but me being so tired didnt make for an AMAZING first experience. a little dancing (i dance shitty at the best of times..... what about after 4 or 5 hours sleep?!), a little drinking, and a few girls made the night as good as i could handle. romy brought her aunt and a friend as well. 4 girls and 1 tyler? down boy..... but the party presented tomorrow nights plans.... PARTY BUS!!!! WOOOOOO!!!! cant wait. its pretty much like the bus drives you around the city, its open bar, and the music is loud. heaven for a canadian in panama.

oh yeah! sight seeing! the canal... pretty cool... i was lucky enought to catch a few boats heading through. HOLY HELL BIG. the pictures dont do justice to the size of these things. i'll have to tell you all when i get back. you know how facial expressions can help ;) ..... the cosway at night.. the bridge of americas....... yup, you could put my name down for kickin it in panama again.

what else.... i dont know! it is cool to have eddie, allison, addy, romy, and everyone else to speak with in good english. i have learned alot about the panamanian culture, and whats going on in the country from their perspective. random chats about politics, health care, and standard of living for panamanians, has given me good view into life in panama as a local.

la bodeguita is loud

anyways, its bedtime, and tomorrow is another big day. everyone take it easy, and i will see you all soon!
